3d Nerds Meetup

Come celebrate the end of the year and the end of the holiday season with some good ol’ fashioned, 3D printing fun! No experience is required. If you know nothing about 3D printing, you’re in the right place. If you already know what you’re doing…you’re also in the right place. Feel free to bring something you’ve been working on to share with the group

This meetup will be perfect for any 3D printing beginner or anyone interested in learning more about the space. We’ll go over where to find 3D models to print and how to save, export and actually print them. We’ll finish up with a show-and-tell where you can share something you’ve been working on (if you want!). It can be something serious, a fun hobby project, a physical print, images/video, or whatever you want. I will be sharing some printed Christmas gifts I’ve been working on. It would be great to see some more real-world projects. Trust me, everyone will love to see your amazing creations!

Tony has also created a Discord server where we can connect outside in-person events. I’ll continue to update with information on the next meetings, any useful resources we come across, and more! There are also channels to share your cool projects and WIP pics, and get advice and feedback from others.
