Event Details
This quarter's program will focus on HTML web design. You will create beautiful, static websites displaying information about a topic that interests you with the aid of the instructor. In addition to learning to the basics of coding, students will undertake a session-long project to build their own website. The website does not need to be hosted but can instead be built in a local environment or online development environment.
We cover:
- HTML Basics
- CSS Basics
- Web Forms, Navigation
- Responsive Design Basics
The workplace value from this course will be learning the basics of how websites are constructed and understanding what goes into a responsive web design. The course will run weekly from February 3 through March 2 on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30 pm.
This course is the first step.
