Program Description

Event Details

Gyroscopes are spinning toys that come in many shapes and sizes. Artist Peter Hohmann sculpted one that is 30 feet tall! Gyroscopes are even used in devices like satellites, compasses, and iPhones. In this class, we will engineer our own spinning toys using air dry clay and wooden dowels and weights.

Accompanying Adults

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Late Arrivals

We cannot guarantee entry for anyone who arrives more than five minutes after the start of class. Waitlisted registrants may be admitted after five minutes.

Membership Card Required
